Introduction

PodFerry enables synchronization of Podcasts subscriptions by implementing the open source gPodder.net protocol.

Upon registration to PodFerry, you shall receive credentials that can be specified in any Podcast client that supports the protocol.

Configure on AntennaPod

Configuration require setting in AntennaPod a URL address, a username and a password of PodFerry service.

This installation process assumes you have AntennaPod application already installed

Locate the Configuration Settings

Look for the settings page at the bottom of the menu that can be accessed from the top left corner.

Synchronization

  • Select Synchronization (synchronize with other devices) option.
  • Click to choose synchronization provider.
  • Select gPodder.net as PodFerry is an implementation of that open-source podcast service.

Login

In the "Server address" field specify podferry.com Click "Proceed to login" to continue.

Connect to www.podferry.com

  • Enter the email address that you have used to sign up to PodFerry in the Username field.
  • Enter the password that you have received in the Password field.
  • Click "Log in" to continue.

Assign a Device name

Name the particular device you are using. You may use the default one or enter a new name and then click "Create device". In case you already have an account with an associated device, you will be able to pick one of your previously named devices instead of creating a new one.

Done

You may select "Start sync now". Your application should start working against the PodFerry service in the background.
